Why problems arise

Native storage usage depends on lots of bits in your OS, and on the media. No extra software means some extra demands on the OS and the transfer media: the network.

That's why we have this section with network and proxy issues.

Troubleshooting

If you experience problems using the storage, go through the checklist below.

Checklist

  1. Ensure the storage is usable from your browser as web view. If you don't see things even from browser, there might be network problems. Try again in some minutes.
  2. If you're trying secure https:// (wevdavs://) secure connection, try http:// (webdav://) also. Note that secure connections are only available for paid accounts.
  3. Check whether you are behind a firewall or proxy, your network administrator might know that. If you are, read the proxies section below.
  4. The problem is still there? Describe your exact issue at the feedback form.

Proxies

Make sure that turning off the firewall/proxy, you are able to use the storage. If this is the case, your firewall is blocking WebDAV-specific requests from you. Contact your system or network administrator to adjust firewall settings.

For example, for Squid proxy, the following line should be added to /etc/squid/squid.conf configuration file:

acl webdav method PROPFIND TRACE PURGE PROPPATCH MKCOL COPY MOVE LOCK UNLOCK
